Origin story
Becoming an advocate for chiropractic
When my brother was 7, he suffered from severe ear infections and eczema. My parents were advised to put tubes in his ears, but their doctor suggested that they wait until the end of summer for him to undergo the surgery. This decision gave my parents an opportunity to look into less invasive options, and, on the advice of friends, they decided to give chiropractic a try. Through a combination of regular adjustments, dietary change, and nutritional supplementation, my brother's conditions cleared up. Surgery was no longer necessary.
Even though Dr. Vesci was only 10 years old at the time, he observed his brother's turnaround and the massive shift it created in his family's outlook on health. This successful outcome shaped his decision to choose chiropractic as his life's work.
Education & clinical excellence
Developing a passion for clinical excellence
After finishing his undergrad study at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Dr. Vesci went on to complete another four years of postgraduate study. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. The combination of academic challenge and the holistic health care approach he was exposed to inspired him to excel in his chosen profession.
Dr. Vesci served as the president of the Connecticut Chiropractic Association from 2012 to 2015. He also earned fellowships from The Complimentary and Alternative Medicine Institute and International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.
Practice approach
Structural change, not just pain relief
Our goal isn't to just get our patients out of pain, but to introduce structural change and improvement to the body. Our mission is not only to assist people in getting well but to help them understand the negative impact that structural imbalance creates in their lives.
Although we can get you out of pain quickly and comfortably, we're not a pain-centered practice. We take a structural approach to wellness and use computerized postural analysis to measure the beneficial changes occurring in the body. Our care also includes customized physiotherapy and nutritional guidance when it's indicated.
Outside the practice
Keeping active
Staying connected as a family is vital to Dr. Vesci. When he's not busy caring for his patients, he loves to spend time with those he loves. Dr. Vesci and his family enjoy skiing, biking, traveling, and heading out to the beach. To maintain his body's alignment and nervous system function, he gets adjusted once a week.
